“Our economy will be turned around, investor confidence shall be boosted and a harmonious political environment established for all to thrive in,” said Tobiko.
Governor Joseph Lenku took his campaign to Kajiado West and addressed several meetings in the Oloishobor area.
“We have wasted five good years under governor Lenku. If you elect me, I will use my management skills to turn around our economy in this county,” said Katoo.
Katoo won the UDA gubernatorial nominations in April after garnering 72,629 votes against his closest challenger Kajiado East MP Peris Tobiko who managed 26,002 votes.
“My only contender who will give me a run for my money is Malei, the others are going nowhere. Many others will be in the race but I do not consider them to be serious,” says Nina today, May 11.
Speaking during the occasion, Jubilee’s director of elections, David Murathe, said he is aware Kajiado has two Azimio la Umoja governor candidates and none of them is the preferred candidate of the coalition.
“I picked a team of educated men and women to help me run the county government and even convinced the wild county assembly to understand that we could join hands to move this county forward,” said Nkedianye.
“It is true Nkedianye went to the best universities of the world but he has never been employed anywhere like me,” said Lenku.
He said Nkedianye’s team is “all-inclusive” and does not divide the people into clan clusters.
