We are bold in presenting our news as we move to all Maa counties across the country.

It is now clear that Dr David Nkedianye of the ODM party will be in the 2022 Kajiado gubernatorial race on the Azimio ticket.

Claims that governor Joseph Lenku would be given a direct nomination to vie on the Azimio platform for his comeback have been refuted by ODM leader Raila Odinga.

In a communication through Kajiado delegates, while touring Narok last week, Raila dismissed as “misleading” rumours that Lenku would be given the Azimio ticket in place of a bonafide ODM member.

It now means governor Lenku has no other option but to ride on the moribund Jubilee Party ticket. Lenku had initially courted with OKA and later moved to Azimio.

Now that the stakes in OKA are dwindling with their leaders undecided with the political direction to take, Lenku certainly will have to re-think his destiny as the April nomination for parties’ deadline approaches in earnest.
