A woman caused a stir at the Kajiado county government offices on Thursday last week when she camped there.

She moved from one office to the other while holding a placard written; “Looking for a job” after no one attended to her.

Gladys Sana, who said she hails from the Meto area of the Kajiado Central sub-county, is a graduate in community development and social work.

“I have been here since 7 am and no one has spoken to me. I am now seeking the attention of Governor Joseph ole Lenku,” said the young woman.

She said after sending many CVs and visiting many offices without help, she has now resorted to the most desperate means of looking for a job.

“I have work experience after volunteering at the county gender offices for one year after my attachment there in 2019. I volunteered for a year,” said Sana.

Sana said she is living with a relative in Kajiado town and that life during this period of coronavirus pandemic has become unbearable.

“I seriously need a job from the county government or any other organisation that can help. My parents are poor after they sold their livestock to educate me,” she said as tears rolled down her face.
