Immediate former Magadi MCA, Peter Pariken died on Sunday at his rural home in Kajiado following a “long” ailment, according to relatives.
Following his death, Kajiado County Assembly through Speaker Johnson Osoi relayed a message of condolence to the bereaved family on Monday.
Osoi described the late Pariken as a “young promising leader”, who served his ward diligently in the last assembly.
“It is our humble prayer that God gives the family members strength and comfort them following the demise,” said Osoi.
His Successor, Joseph Masiaya, said the late MCA passed on at his rural home in Magadi.
“He has been unwell for some time but the news of his demise shocked the entire Magadi given the fact that only last week he participated in a public forum,” said MCA Masiaya on the phone.
Others who sent condolences to the bereaved family includes; Keek-Onyokie MCA Saoyo Kusero, Justus Ngossor (Ewuaso), Onesmus Ngogoyo (Nominated) and Kajiado West MP George Sunkuyia.
“It’s with a profound shock that we learn the demise of a friend, former Magadi MCA, Hon. Pariken, whom I have engaged on different occasions, and we had immense hope that he would heal and embark on his normal life,” said Saoyo.
