“Those rumours are baseless, intended to damage my political image, should be ignored and dispensed with an utmost highest degree it deserves" - Kores

Politician Tarayia Kores has termed “cheap Propaganda” claims that are making rounds on social media implying he is supporting Joseph Lenku’s re-election.

The outspoken ODM seasoned politician said: “I fact I am in the race in 2022 seeking election as the next Kajiado governor.”

“Those rumours are baseless, intended to damage my political image, should be ignored and dispensed with an utmost highest degree it deserves,” said Kores.

The outspoken and most oratorical politician living in Kajiado explained that a picture circulating on social media showing him and Lenku walking was taken while on a tour of the Shompole region.

“I was with Lenku shortly when I joined him in the Shompole region where we enjoyed the nature of Imbarbali (small lakes) and thereby called it a day,” said Kores.

He said the purported meeting claiming he met with Leturesh at Harraf’s home had nothing to do with politics. “We never talked politics at all,” he added.

The politician dismissed as mere propaganda claims suggesting he had agreed to vie for a senate seat.

“I am assuring my supporters that I am in ODM to stay, and am going for governor seat come 2022,” said Kores finally.
