Oloosirkon MCA, Francis Kaesha, has sensationally claimed “unnamed” county officials are involved in political theatrics at the expense of development.
Kaesha claimed while the governor and his development agenda could be meaning well for the people of Kajiado, some of his lieutenants are now traversing the county and spreading hate speeches.
“I am personally grateful to the governor for what he has done to the people of my ward in terms of development. He is always around my people when we need him,” said Kaesha.
Remain in Your Office
He went on; “There are people in the county government, who appear to understand politics than their boss. If you are working for the governor in his office, and you are not an MCA, remain in that office where you have been assigned.”
He said those working in the office of the governor and purporting to represent the views of the governor in other elective areas that have elected leaders, is “bad manners”.
Without naming anyone, Kaesha said he is busy handling ward projects that include roads, a borehole, and other undertakings and cannot afford to start campaigns for the 2022 general elections.
Kaesha, an ODM MCA, was elected in 2017 after flooring his closest contender, Daniel Kanchori, who was at the time incumbent.
The Oloosirkon MCA appealed to his voters to sanitise and maintain social distancing in a bid to control the spread of COVID-19 pandemic.
“As your elected MCA, I will do all that I can to stand with you at these hard times brought about by this disease,” said Kaesha.
He said he is aware many people are going hungry and took the opportunity to assure that all the affected people will be supported once the national and the county government will have come up with a feeding program.
