The country’s second-largest mobile phone service provider has been down in the county for the last 4 hours this Saturday.
Subscribers could not even get them through their hotline numbers and were left helpless.
Most of the people who talked to us said they reported the matter before 1 pm were sent messages that said in part, “Your issue ID C31507448 has been logged in with us and the expected resolution date is 09-02-2020”.
“This is shocking, I conduct all my businesses on-line, and for them to tell me that the problem will be resolved on January 9 is total torture,” said David Mapena, a local businessman in Kitengela.
We attempted to call Airtel (K) customer care but no call could get through.
