A Form 3 student at Kitengela Boys Secondary School has been reported missing after leaving the institution for half term on Tuesday.
Timan Mwamburi, 18, is said to have been released from school on June 11 at 7 am and reportedly left for Mombasa town to visit his parents.
His uncle, Herbert Mwachoni told KNU on Wednesday that his parents called him back to report their son had not arrived home, more than 24 hours later.
“Mwamburi he left the school for Mombasa, as per the information he gave. He has never been seen since then. His first languages are Kiswahili and Taita,” said Mwachoni.
After receiving information that Mwamburi had not arrived in Mombasa, Mwachoni drove to Kitengela from Nairobi to report the matter.
Mwamburi’s phone number is 0702302158. At the time of leaving the school, he had no cellphone handset, according to his uncle.
