We are bold in presenting our news as we move to all Maa counties across the country.

County Assembly Speaker, Johnson Osoi, said on Wednesday the newly gazetted ODM’s nominee on the special list will be sworn in “soon”.

Osoi spoke in reference to the Independent Electoral and Boundaries Commission’s gazette notice of April 18 that nullified the nomination of Sandra Marion.

In the same gazette, IEBC chairman, Wafula Chebukati, published the name of Marion’s replacement, Elizabeth Jebet Kibor, who will now be sworn in to take ODM’s seat at the county assembly.

The speaker said he is notified by the gazette notice and will, therefore, arrange the swearing in for the new ODM nominee at the assembly as prescribed by the law.

“I will administer the oath of office to the newly gazetted member soon,” Osoi said in a message to KNU Online.
