County Press in Mourning Over Death of Its Chief Accountant

County Press is today in mourning after its chief accountant, Geoffrey Kimeto, passed on at a Machakos hospital after a short illness.

The company’s administration manager, Samuel Chebotibin, made the announcement of Kimeto’s demise to the staff early in the day.

Chebotibin said; “We take this earliest opportunity to condole with Kimeto’s family over this great lose. Members of the staff will be updated on funeral preparation.”

He said Kimeto passed on while undergoing an operation at Shalom Hospital in Machakos early in the morning on Tuesday. He had been hospitalized at the facility for one day.

The company’s Editor, Peter Silsil, described Kimeto’s passing on as a big lose to the company.

“Kimeto was a team player who was always ready to work with others,” said Silsil.

County Press Associate Editor, Kurgat Marindany, said the company has lost a trusted staff, whose contribution had remained exemplary over the years.

He leaves behind his wife, Jackline and young child.
