Kajiado Central MP Kanchory Memusi has defended the second nomination of politician, Grace Munei, to county assembly on ODM ticket saying she deserves it.

Memusi, while speaking during Munei’s thanksgiving for her second nomination by the party, said the MCA has been obedient to ODM leadership.
“We rewarded her for her exemplary service and obedience to the party. She stood with us and supported our resolve as a party during the last general election,” said Memusi.
Munei was first nominated in 2013 through the influence of the late Internal CS, General (rtd) Joseph Nkaissery, when he was Central MP.

After last year’s election Munei was again picked for nomination by the party to serve its interests in the county assembly.
While she was celebrating her second nomination with a thanksgiving, her husband Daniel Kupai was also celebrating his promotion for the position of senior chief.
Although not much was said about by politicians who spoke during the family get-together, Kupai said he is grateful to God because his promotion came as a surprise.
“Before that promotion came, I had spent many days in agony as I worried about the future of my job after I had been served with a disciplinary letter over some issues in my location,” said Kupai.
Kupai went on; “As I waited for my fate, the God from above change my agony with a big blessing, and instead of being fired, a letter came from the Office of the President confirming my appointment as senior chief.”
