“I obtained 420 marks through hard work, and I thank God for that. It was a long journey made possible by my parents, teachers and my colleagues we shared homework at school. I want to become a neurosurgeon when I join university for advanced course,” said Wambogo.
The school, which takes position three in the sub county, was doing this year’s KCPE for the seventh year.
With a mean grade of 360 last year, this year’s performance shot up and registered 371 mean grade.
Most of the candidates who did well in the school claimed teachers’ effort and their dedication played a major role in raising their grade.
“We are happy we have come this far, but I should first of all thank our teachers for dedicating their time to us. I am also thanking the great team of my colleagues in class for encouraging each other to work hard,” said Muthoni.
