Kaputiei North MCA Joshua Olowuasa will be guest of honour during his thanksgiving ceremony at his Isinya home on December 16.
The opposition politician, who has openly supported handshake between politicians from different camps, will also be hosting a multitude of guests from Kajiado and across the county borders.
Olowuasa broke ranks with other opposition MCAs in Kajiado to support governor Joseph Lenku’s bid in uniting the region for sake of development and cohesion.
“I have said many times that the people of Kaputiei Ward are supreme and deserve development and not empty rhetoric. As their leader, who they overwhelmingly elected, I have to walk with them in realisation of development,” said Olowuasa.
He says that immediately he was elected to office in August 2018, he has initiated several road projects, lighting in Isinya town and the newly constructed Ole Lenku Isinya Township Primary School, that has for many years had become an eyesore in the urban centre.
“I am proud to announce that the new school will be opening its doors to our children early January, next year. I am also thankful to His Excellency the governor for his equivocal support in the acquiring of the 5 acres the new school is now sitting,” said the politician.
He said Isinya Health Centre has improved services because of governor Lenku, who had stood by him to assist the people of Kaputiei North Ward.
