Praise and Worship Annual Event – Background

This Praise and Worship annual event to be held at Isinya Doom Tent on November 23, 2018 will be the Sixth Edition in the County and has been organised by Kajiado’s evangelist Paul Reketai.

The Praise and Worship is a One Day event which attracts interdenominational Worshippers from across Kajiado Region and beyond.

Christians will converge to listen to various preachers, Gospel singers from the various churches and inspirational speakers targeting the youth and the older people.

The Isinya event is expected to receive more than 5, 000 guests from the entire region and Narok with an estimated budget of Sh2.5 million.

Event organisers led by Reketai are inviting corporate organisations established in the county to use the occasion to also publicise their products with a small fee which will go into supporting the event.

The Ministry is also inviting government departments and companies that operate here in Kajiado and outside to showcase their products and services during this holy occasion.

In the Past, the event has been targeting Gospel Singers from the Region but it has now been transformed from the usual praise and worship and in future to include talent search among the youth and women in diversified areas of Sports and Beadworks.

The organisers want to transform the county youth and women, and activate them to understand that while the Word of God is important in their lives, sporting activities will even bond them more as they run their activities in the society.

Well endowed Maa Gospel musicians and Inspirational Speakers recognised in the region will participate in the event.

The organisers plan to engage the county government through the Ministry of Trade in organizing the sporting events to coincide with Praise and Worship which is done annually.

They will prepare the youth to participate in football games, a Cappella music, and best worship; modern and traditional dancing, beauty, talent search and poetry at Ward Level, Sub County Level and have the County finals during the praise and worship events in future.

Trophies will be awarded during the finals and therefore organisers are shopping for more sponsors to support its initiative and in making the event a reality.

Currently NACADA, Youth Fund and the Ushanga Kenya Initiative is sponsoring Glorious Ministry event but more sponsors are needed to realize this dream.
