Kores to Host NASA Principals in Iloodokilani

Kajiado’s new kid on the block,  Tarayia Ole Kores will tomorrow host two NASA Principals, Moses Wetangula and Musalia Mudavadi, for lunch in his Iloodokilani home.

The chopper carrying the two Principals, who will be accompanied by Kajiado Central MP, Elijah Kanchori, is expected to land a few minutes after midday.

The visit comes barely a week after Interior CS, Joseph Nkaissery, met with some 320 elders from all the locations in Iloodokilani when he allegedly implored on them to support President Kenyatta’s re-election.

Insiders in the meeting held at Bush Camp resort claimed Nkaissery’s proposal was countered by rejection from the elders who demanded that they would do so if only the President will stop interfering with the local politics.

Nkaissery,  it is claimed, found himself in crossroads with the elders who told him they had already made a decision to support a particular gubernatorial candidate in the impending elections.

“We told him that the state has no business choosing leaders for Kajiado Maasai. We also told him to tell Uhuru to leave us alone if he wants our votes,” says an elder who spoke at Bush Camp.

Only three elders represented the 320 who attended the meeting called by the CS.

Speaking to KNU this morning, Kanchori said Wetangula and Musalia will be treated to sumptuous lunch on arrival at the home of Kores before addressing a number of “special” guests invited to dine with the two top cream of Nasa team.

He said he would also be confirming whether Raila Odinga would be attending another rally in Ongata Rongai on the same day.

The MP said NASA is unstoppable in Kajiado and that those doubting should attempt to read the writings on the walls.

“My friend, Kajiado has decided this round and we are not going back to the past. NASA in Kajiado and Narok is real. I can almost feel it in the air and those who can not feel is up to them. Hatubebewi akili tena,” said the MP on phone.

Kores said his decision to cross over to ODM was “well informed” and borne of what he allegedly underwent during the Jubilee primaries in April.

He said he stepped in the “shit” squarely in retaliation to what Nkaissery and DP William Ruto allegedly did to mess up the nomination exercise.

His move to ODM has been making headlines in local news blogs in the county for the last several days.
